I did this hillbilly character design for a class that I ended up not getting into. I like it, though, so I thought I would share him with everyone. Let me know what you think.
I totally agree. I fought it for a long time, but everytime I tried to pudh the contrast it seems to get over-saturated really quickly. Maybe I ought to do it in grayscale first, though.
Hey, love the hillbilly. Great character. I think if the background wasn't white it wouldn't look so close in value...maybe? I am horrible with value though so you can chuck my opinion.

He's funny I really like the personality that he had but I think It needs more contrast. Everything is the same value almost.
